Return and Refund Policy

We want you to love your skincare. If you’re not completely satisfied, we’re here to help! This Returns & Refunds Policy sets out how we handle returns, exchanges, refunds and faulty products for purchases made through our online store.

This policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which provides guarantees for products that are faulty, not fit for purpose or don’t match their description. (ACCC)

Eligibility:

  • You may request an exchange only (no refunds) within 30 days of delivery.
  • Products must be unopened, unused, and in their original packaging with all seals and labels intact.
  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) is required.

Not eligible:

  • Opened or used products
  • Products purchased on sale or at a discounted price (unless faulty)
  • Gifts / free samples included with an order

Process:

  1. Contact our team at info@adornedaesthetics.com.au with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Once approved, return instructions will be issued.
  3. You are responsible for return postage and any risk during transit.

Refund:

  • We do not accept change of mind refunds.

We stand behind the quality of our products.

If you receive a product that:

  • Is faulty, defective, or damaged,
  • Is significantly different from its description, or
  • Doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do (as reasonably expected), then you are entitled to a remedy under the ACL - including a refund, repair, or replacement, at your choice. (ACCC)

How to Claim:

  1. Contact us within reasonable time of noticing the issue with photos, order number and a description of the problem.
  2. We may request the product be returned for assessment - return postage is covered by us if the fault is validated.
  3. After assessment, we will advise the outcome and remedy within a reasonable timeframe.

All returns are at the expense of the purchaser unless deemed faulty.

Before sending anything back:

  • Email our support team at info@adornedaesthetics.com.au with:
  • Order number
  • Item name
  • Reason for return
  • Photos (if applicable)

Return authorisation:

  • We will issue a Return Authorisation and instructions for returning your item.

Packaging:

  • Pack items securely to prevent damage in transit. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.

Refunds will be processed once your return is received and inspected.
Timeframe:

  • Refunds are usually processed within 7–14 business days after inspection.

Where will my refund be sent?

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at purchase.

Shipping costs:

  • Shipping costs are only refundable if the return is due to a fault on our part.

If you haven’t received your refund after the stated processing time, please check your bank, then contact us - sometimes it may take additional time for the refund to show in your account.

 

If you’d prefer an exchange (e.g., different product or size), let us know when you submit your return request. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.

Items marked as final sale or purchased during special promotions may be non-refundable unless there is a valid quality issue covered under ACL.

You will receive an email notification once your order is ready for collection.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You may still be entitled to a remedy if a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee, regardless of our own policy. (ACCC)
